About Siltech Cables

Siltech is reckoned to be a purveyor of some of the finest hi-fi equipment in the world. That reputation did not come easily – it took decades of hard work and thorough attention to detail. All underpinned by a rigorous scientific method and a commitment to excellence in all things. Add a touch of passion for music. Now you understand the story of Siltech.

The company was founded back in 1983 in Nijmegen – a two-thousand-year-old city thriving since Roman times in the Netherlands. From the start, Siltech invested heavily in research. It is something that continues to this day. Our focus was initially on researching the effects of different conductors, insulators, and construction formulations. That was on both empirical and subjective performance. In other words, we wanted to find out what makes cables sound the way that they do.
Soon, it was clear that existing measurement techniques were unable to explain audible differences. So, our engineers had to develop their specialized equipment surpassing the standards of the day. The result was Siltech’s first generation (G1) pure silver conductor. It changed what many people thought was possible from an audio cable. It established our brand. Also, it showed how serious we were about making people’s systems sound better. We have never looked back.

About Crystal Cable

"Hi-fi" is a term almost everyone has probably heard of. People have different interpretations of it, especially what is considered to be "high" in high fidelity. For Crystal Cables, it is a level where a musical performance is reproduced realistically and vividly, truly bringing out the subtleties and emotions of a live performance. Hi-fi should bring about emotions, make people relive memories and connect people from all over the world. To get there, engineering, craftsmanship and musical expertise need to come together at the highest level. And to stay there, you need an ever-increasing passion to constantly improve.
